On the occasion of “AAM AADMI PARTY” completing a year in power in Delhi let us take a short glimpse at the steps taken by them to make Delhi a better place
1) The most important step take by AAP to decrease high levels of pollution was the odd-even scheme which was in power from january 1 to january 15 . It was basically a 15 day trial run to test if the odd-even scheme is successful in delhi,but as most of us know it was not successful because the level of the particulate matter in the air did not decrease.
2)On 18 november delhi cabinet cleared the Jan Lokpal bill.
3)On 21 october delhi chief minister led a cycle rally to mark delhi’s first ever car free day.
4)Chief minister Kejriwal inaugurated a six lane flyover that was finished at Rs 100 crore less than planned and well before time on 10 november 2015.
5)On 14 november delhi government launched a 24 hour helpline number 011-23307145 for dengue,following a rapid increase in the number of the viral disease in delhi.
6)On 7 august 2015 aap government launches the super talented children scholarship scheme.
7)On 30 august 2015 Kejriwal government launched the “Bijli Vivad Samadhan Scheme”or electrical bill disputes redressal scheme , while promising that electricity rates will become more cheaper in delhi .
8)The aap government also passed the free water bill in delhi.
