CMD, NTPC, Shri Arup Roy Choudhury has been honoured with “Asian CEO of the Year” award by Terrapinn, a business media company with presence in five continents doing significant work in Energy dialogue, in their “3rd Annual Asian Utility Industry Awards 2012” Night at “Power and Electricity World Asia” conference at Singapore on 17th April, 2012.
This award honours an individual leader who has exhibited visionary leadership and shown a commitment to leading and communicating change, building partnerships, portraying business acumen and producing optimal results in the past 12 months.
Mr. Richard Lancaster, CEO, China Light and Power, Hong Kong, was the recipient of the award for the year 2011. Mr. Joong-Kyum Kim, CEO, KEPCO, Mr. Fazil Erwin Alfitri, CEO, Medco Power, Mr. Andrew Brandler, CEO, China Light Power and Mr. Ong Tiong Soon, CEO, Generating Energy Group were the other nominees to the award this year.
