GOPAL RAI REVIEWS PREPARATION OF CHHAT PUJA GHATS

Delhi Development Minister Shri Gopal Rai reviewed the preparations for Chhat Puja Ghats on tuesday.  The meeting was attended by the MLAs and the officers of the concerned departments.

After the discussion, following decisions were taken:-

  1. It was decided that Revenue Department in consultation with I&FC Department will prepare a combined list of Chhat Puja Ghats, consisting of Ghats where Chhat Puja was taken place in 2016 and the additional sites proposed by the MLAs by 15.09.2017.  This list will be forwarded to all MLAs and the MLAs may suggest any other new sites or any other change by 20.9.2017.
  2. I&FC department will start the work of preparation of temporary Chhat Ghats by 5thOctober, 2017 so that the same is completed by 20th October, 2017.
  3. Further, it was directed to start the work of construction of permanent Chhat Ghats (approx. 50) by 25thSeptember, 2017 and this work will be completed before the Chhat puja. The construction work will consist of only brick riser for steps with grass top.
  4. The officers of Revenue Department informed that they have finalised the tenders for installation of tents/pandals, PA system, etc..  Hon’ble Minister advised  the Secretary(Revenue) to hold a meeting with the concerned departments for preparations for Chhat Puja Ghats in the first week of October,2017 itself so that all the arrangements such as cleanliness, medical facilities, toilets, lighting, CCTV, PA system, drinking water, etc. are in place
  5. I&FC and Revenue departments are directed that all the temporary and permanent Chhat Ghats should be ready in time for performing Chhat Puja festival 2017 and no additional ghats should be added without informing the concerned MLA.

दिल्ली के विकास मंत्री श्री गोपाल राय ने आज छठ पूजा घाट के निर्माण और मरम्मत की तैयारी को लेकर दिल्ली सचिवालय में समीक्षा बैठक की। इस बैठक में विधायक और संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों ने भाग लिया।

बैठक के बाद विकास मंत्री श्री गोपाल राय ने बताया कि इसमें निम्नलिखित निर्णय लिए गए:

  1. यह निर्णय लिया गया कि राजस्व विभाग ,सिंचाई एवं बाढ़ नियंत्रण विभाग के साथ परामर्श करके छठ पुजा घाटों की एक संयुक्त सूची तैयार करेगा,जिसमें वह घाट भी शामिल होगी, जहां 2016 में छठ पूजा की गई, साथ ही साथ 15 सितम्बर तक विधायकों द्वारा प्रस्तावित अतिरिक्त छठ पुजा घाटों की सूची भी इसमें शामिल होगी। छठ पुजा घाटों की संयुक्त सूची सभी विधायकों को भेजी जाएगी और विधायकों द्वारा 20 सितम्बर तक किसी अन्य नई साइट या अन्य परिवर्तन का सुझाव दे सकतें  है।
  2. सिंचाई एवं बाढ़ नियंत्रण विभाग को निर्देश दिया कि5 अक्तूबर से अस्थायी छः घाटों के निर्माण का काम शुरू करे, ताकि यह यह काम छठ पूजा से पहले पूरा हो जाए।
  3. इसके अलावा स्थायी छठ घाटोंके निर्माण के काम भी तुरंत शुरू करने (लगभग 50) का निर्देश दिया गया ताकि यह काम छठ पूजा से पहले पूरा हो जाए।
  4. इस अवसर परराजस्व विभाग के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि उन्होंने टेंट / पंडाल, पीए सिस्टम आदि के लिए निविदाएं को अंतिम रूप दे दी हैं।
  5.  विकास मंत्री ने सचिव ,राजस्व विभाग को सभी संबंधित विभागों के साथ छठ पूजा की तैयारी के लिए अलग से बैठक करने का निर्देश दिया ताकि अक्टूबर के पहले सप्ताह में घाट की सफाई,वहां परचिकित्सा सुविधाएं, शौचालय, प्रकाश व्यवस्था, सीसीटीवी, पीए प्रणाली, पेयजल आदि जैसी सभी व्यवस्थाएं पूरी हो जाएं।
  6. सिंचाई एवं बाढ़ नियंत्रण और राजस्व विभाग को निर्देश दिया कि सभी अस्थायी और स्थायी छट घाट, छठ पूजा समारोह2017 से पहले तैयार हो जाएं।
