Hindi Fortnight Celebrations inaugurated at NLCIL

Government of India promulgated implementation of Official Language Act on 14th September, 1949. To mark this occasion, Hindi Pakwada, is being celebrated every year in all Central Government Offices and in Govt. of India undertakings.

Hindi Day was observed on 14.09.2017 at NLCIL. In this occasion, Shri Syed Adbul Fateh Khalid, Executive Director (Mines), NLCIL inaugurated the Hindi Fortnight celebrations at the Learning and Development centre, Block-20, on 14/09/2017. In his chief guest address, he appreciated the compliance of Official Language in NLCIL for the past 11 years and also stated that Hindi is propagating to the employees through correspondence and regular courses, workshops and spoken Hindi classes.

He stressed upon the importance of learning Hindi and the way it helps in our life. He further expressed his happiness over the overwhelming response from the employees as the auditorium was to its full capacity for the inaugural function. Shri. M.Raja Sekar, Executive Director (SME Conveyor & Mines) felicitated during the function.

Like every year, NLCIL celebrated this event in a grand manner. A large number of enthusiastic participants took part in the inaugural function.

The message sent by Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs, was read out by Shri N. Saravana Kumar, Hindi Officer and the message of         Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Rail and Coal was read out by Smt Rajani Lankapalli, Hindi Officer

To Mark the Occasion Prizes were distributed to the employees who secured top Three places in the various Hindi Correspondence and Regular Courses.

The Vote of Thanks was rendered by Shri N.Saravana Kumar, Hindi Officer, NLC India Ltd. and Programme compeered by Smt. Rajani Lankapalli, Hindi Officer, NLC India Ltd.
