Delhi Chapter of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) celebrated the National PR Day on April 21st by organizing a conference on the theme” Better PR for Effective CSR”.  Speaking on the occasion , Chief Guest Dr Anil Sethi , a renowned counselor, motivator and corporate trainer spoke about the importance of being a better individual first which ultimately would benefit the family and society as a whole. Showing video clips, he also gave tips on leadership development which will help in communicating better the CSR activities of the corporation

The formal welcome of the chief guest was done by  Chairman, PRSI Delhi Chapter Shri S.Rajagopalan. Speaking on the occasion Shri K.M Prashanth , Secretary, PRSI Delhi Chapter informed that with CSR now being part of the Companies Act, it is important that PR professionals play an important role in disseminating the benefits of CSR activities to the various stakeholders. He also stressed the importance of brand fit while undertaking various CSR activities. Shri G.N Bhatt, Executive Member handed over a memento to the Chief Guest and also proposed the vote of thanks .

The program was attended by members of the PRSI Delhi Chapter and other distinguished guests from PR , Advertising, Marketing and Media fraternity.

The PRSI has 30 chapters spread across India, including Delhi, with around 3000 members. The Delhi chapter organizes seminars, workshops and short-term training programmes. The chapter in its pursuit of impacting life and the profession takes up broad based public affairs programmes  on wide ranging issues.

PRSI, Delhi Chapter consists of more than 140 members comprising of PR Professionals, Advertising, Marketing and Media persons .
