DREADED CRIMINAL WANTED IN A CASE OF SHOOTOUT AT PROPERTY DEALER OFFICE ARRESTED WITH FIREARM & CARTRIDGES OF .32 BORE AND STOLEN M/CYCLE USED IN COMMISSION OF CRIME
The officials of Operation Cell, North District have arrested one Suresh @ Subhash R/o Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar, Delhi aged 33 years who was having a country made Pistol, two live cartridges of .32 bores and a stolen motorcycle.
INCIDENT AND TEAM
On 21.04.2017 at about 10.00 AM, an information was received at the office of Operation Cell, North District that a person namely Suresh @ Subhash will come from Mall Road towards gate no. 7 Bonta Park Road, Delhi University on a black colour Pulsar Motorcycle is having illegal arms and has recently indulged in firing in Shastri Nagar, Delhi. Acting upon this information a team consisting of ASI Roshan Singh, ASI Naresh Kumar, ASI Ombir Singh, ASI Raj Kumar and Ct. Vikas was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Vivekanand Jha, Inspr. Spl. Staff/N and overall supervision of Sh. Dhal Singh Patle, ACP/Operations, North District. The team took their position near Gate No. 7, Bonta Park. At about 11.30 AM, a person was found coming from Mall Road. The motorcyclist was intercepted by the staff and was overpowered by the police team. The person was identified as Suresh @ Subhash S/o Murari Lal R/o HN 168 Sainik Enclave Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar, Delhi aged 33 years. During search of Suresh @ Subhash, a country made pistol with two live cartridges was recovered from his possession. During investigation it came to notice that the said Pulsar Motorcycle has been stolen from Mukharjee Nagar, Delhi and was being used for committing crime after changing the number plate. Subsequently a case vide FIR No. 52/2017 dated 21.04.17 u/s 482/411 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Maurice Nagar and the accused was arrested.
INTERROGATION
During interrogation, the accused revealed that he is permanent resident of Vill. Rattangarh, PS Nimka, Distt. Churu, Rajasthan and presently he is residing at Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar, Delhi. He is involved in more than two dozen cases of Arms Act, Robbery, Theft in different Police Stations. On further interrogation it revealed that he along with his associate Manish @ Mogli R/O JJ Colony Wazir Pur Ashok Vihar had opened fire in the office of a property dealer on 01 April 2017 in Shastri Nagar area as Mogli was instructed by his boss Kalu, a notorious criminal as well as BC of PS Bharat Nagar who is presently lodged in Tihar Jail in a case of FIR No. 491/15 u/s 307/34 IPC & 27 A. Act PS. Subzi Mandi. Further investigation is going on to establish the reason of firing and their involvement in other crimes.
