VIGILANCE BRANCH REGISTERS A CASE OF CORRUPTION AGAINST POLICE PERSONALS OF PS KALYAN PURI
New Delhi: On 12-12-14, the complainant contacted the Vigilance Branch and provide an audio recording, which was recorded by him on 09-12-14 against police personnel posted at PS Kalyan Puri. The complainant stated that on 09/12/14 at about 10.30 AM, while he was repairing his Jhuggi Ct Vijay, Ct Bir Singh & one Head Const of PS Kalyan Puri reached there. Ct. Vijay asked the complainant to pay Rs One Lakh to them for repairing his Jhuggi. Complainant sought time till evening and agreed to pay the money. Later in the day one of the police personal talked to complainant on mobile and the conversation between them was recorded by the complainant.
The audio recording allegedly contains conversation between complainant and police personnel, wherein alleged police personal is demanding illegal gratification from the complainant.
Complainant came to know about the Anti-Corruption measures taken by Vigilance Branch. On 12/12/14, he approached the Vigilance Branch and handed over the audio CD of the conversation. On the statement of the complainant, a case vide FIR No.28 dated 12/12/14 u/s 7 / 13 (1) (d) POC Act has been registered at P.S.Vigilance and investigation is on.
