SOUTH EAST DISTRICT POLICE ORGANIZES MEET WITH THE AFRICAN NATIONALS
The South-East District police organized a meeting with the African National & also with representative of RWA’s of the area of South East District, on 04/06/2016 at 05.00 P.M. at Auditorium Jamia Hamdard University, Ambedkar Nagar, New Delhi with a view to instill a sense of security and to generate awareness about various measures being taken by Delhi Police for the security of persons from African National. The meeting was chaired by Sh. Mandeep Singh Randhawa DCP/South East and attended by 89 African resident & representative of 27 RWA’s. Sh. Rajeev Ranjan Singh, Addl. DCP South East, All ACsP Sub Division & All SHOs of South East District were also present during the meeting at the outset, the African national were informed that Delhi Police is committed for their safety & security. Repetitive of RWAs were also sensitize on the issue. All were advice follow the law of the land and respect sentiment of each other. Their issues were also taken up one by one. Further the help line number & the numbers of nodal officers were also shared with them.
Focus of the meeting was upon the following:-
- Problems generally faced by African National/students and police assistance to be provided.
- Steps to be taken for safety and security of African National especially during late hours.
