DJB launches special “Jansampark Shivir ” to address ‘ Meter Reading and Bills related issues

  • Till date 923 of complaints have been resolved by DJB in “Jansampark Shivir”
  • Drive will be undertaken till 1st October, 2016 (Every Saturday)in various areas
  • Camps organized at ZRO Offices from 10.00 AM to 1:00 PM on all Saturdays till 01-10-2016

 

 

Delhi Jal Board urges its consumers to visit their zones to get instant redressal in “Jansampark Shivir” being held to address consumer grievances related to meter reading & Bill related issues with DJB. The drive started on 03-09-2016. Total 923 of complains out of 1287 have been resolved on the spot. The remaining complaints are in the process of redressal by the Zonal Revenue Officers of the concerned area. Consumers are encouraged to lodge their grievances related to the issues such as non-receipt of regular bills, any metering issues, inaccurate/inflated billing etc. in the concerned Zonal Revenue Office in the presence of team of revenue officers. The idea is to give on the spot resolution of grievances to the consumers.

The next camp will be organized on 24th September, 2016 between 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM at Yojna Vihar, Mayur Vihar, Giri Nagar and Shahdara. The initiative has been started for effective and speedy redressal of grievances of our esteemed customers and DJB is committed to reach out to its consumers and will try to respond, in a time bound manner.

 

The Shivirs are launched in addition to other grievance redressal mechanism available to the consumers like lodging the complaints on DJB website or contacting toll free no 1916. Consumers can register and update their contact details like mobile numbers on the DJB website www.djb.gov.in  to receive regular updates on information such as new schemes launched, current issued bills, payment alerts, payments receipt, detailed bill receipt, old payment history etc. With this effort, DJB hopes to redress as many public grievances as possible in a short span of time.
