New Delhi: Sharing his thoughts, Prime Minister encouraged the young Officers to work towards fostering closer relations between India and the outside world; developing deeper understanding of the country of their posting; linking the Indian States with the outside world in the spirit of cooperative federalism; promoting greater people to people & cultural contacts; strengthening trade, investments and technology ties; and according greater attention to secure the interests and look after the welfare of the Indians abroad.
