79 FIR’s are lodged against Political Parties for violation of Model Code of Conduct
- 1331 Hoardings removed from Public Property
- 5138 Persons booked and 34 Licensing Arms deposited under various sections of CRCP and DP Act
- 129 bottles of IMFL, 130 Bottles of Country seized
New Delhi :Under violation of model code of conduct, up to 16.01.2015, a total of 79 FIR’s have been lodged against political parties. Out of which (33) are against Aam Aadmi Party, (15) BJP, (20) Congress, (06) BSP, (01) RJD, (01) INLD, (01) Akali Dal (BJP) and (02) Unknown respectively.
A total number of 1331 hoardings removed from Public Property till date, whereas a total of 78 FIR’s are lodged till 16.01.2015 in this regard. A total of 31 hoardings (defacements) of Private Property were removed out of which 05 hoardings were removed on 16.01.2015.These are in addition to the removal being done by the local bodies.
As on date (16.01.2015), a total 5138 persons have been booked under various sections of CRCP/DP Act, as preventive action measure 34 licensed arms deposited, 02 unlicensed arms and 05 cartridges seized.
Till Date, 129 bottles, 16419 quarters of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, 130 bottles, 23 Half & 4265 quarters of Country liquor were seized as part of expenditure management measure.
