BADALS SPENT 121 CRORE ON AIR TRAVEL DURING THEIR 10 YEAR RULE CLAIMS SIDHU
Punjab Tourism Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday claimed that former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, his son and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal spent Rs 121 crore from the government kitty on air travel during their 10-year rule in the state.
At a press conference, Sidhu also presented the bills’ details of the expenditure incurred on Charter planes and private Choppers between 2007 and 2017.
Referring to CAG report, Sidhu alleged that no procedure was followed in purchase of Chppoer for Rs 32 crore.
The son of Congress MLA Dajit Singh Khiljian was also present at the media briefing by Sidhu.
Giving details of escort vehicles in the officials cavalcade of the father-son duo, Sidhu said that 32 vehicles used to move with the former CM and 19 with the former Deputy CM. The fuel expenditure of these vehicles was borne from the government exchequer.
More fireworks are expected from Sidhu in near future. He said that he would organize a series of 5 press conferences in which more disclosures would be made about Badals.
