CMD NHPC ,K.M.SINGH ADDRESSES THE INAUGURAL SESSION OF 6TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LARGE POWER TRANSFORMERS
Sh. K.M. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC delivered an address at the inaugural session of 6th International Conference on Large Power Transformers – Modern Trends in Application, Installation, Operation & Maintenance at New Delhi on 22nd February 2017 organized by Central Board of Irrigation and Power, New Delhi.
In his address, Shri Singh said that a well-planned and well thought of infrastructure framework is the backbone for development of a country and supply of reliable power is one of the most critical components of infrastructure for economic growth. He further highlighted upon role of transformers in the power set up and said that transformers are the most vital equipment installed in the power system and their proper installation, operation and maintenance must be ensured.
