DAMODAR VALLEY CORPORATION CELEBRATES ITS 68TH FOUNDATION DAY

The 68th Foundation Day of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) was celebrated on 7th July, 2015 across the valley and at DVC Hqs at Kolkata. DVC is the first multipurpose river valley project of the Nation established by the Act No. XIV of 1948.

The programme started with hoisting of DVC flag by the Chairman followed by glittering prize distribution ceremony of the selected budding employees blooming with new ideas to work for the organization through an “Ideation Contest-2015”

In this programme, Rajan Kr. Dubey, Assistant Engineer was also felicitated for receiving the First Prize by the Prime Minister of India at New Delhi in the open national competition for the category of “Use of information technology to improve Governance services” organized by the Ministry of Urban Development. The objective of the competition was to encourage citizens to contribute their ideas and solutions for addressing challenges faced by Indian cities.
