DELHI JAL BOARD LAUNCHES SPECIAL JANSAMPARK SHIVIR TO ADDRESS BILL AND..

  • DJB launches special “ Jansampark Shivir ” to address ‘ Meter Reading and Bills related issues.’
  • DJB resolved 251 complaints on the 1st day of the newly launched grievance redressal camp.
  • Drive will be undertaken from 3rd September to 1st October, 2016-09-03, in various areas.

 

In its first major Consumer outreach program, for the convenience of consumers, Delhi Jal Board launched a special “Jansampark Shivir ” from 03-09-2016 to 01-10-2016 to address consumer grievances related to meter reading & Bill related issues with DJB. Consumers are encouraged to lodge their grievances related to the issues such as non-receipt of regular bills, any metering issues, inaccurate/inflated billing etc. in the concerned Zonal Revenue Office in the presence of team of revenue officers. The idea is to give on the spot resolution of  grievances to the consumers. Camps are organized on all Saturdays from 03rd Sep, 2016 to 01st October, 2016 between 1000hrs to 1300hrs.

 

On the first day, Jan Sampark Shivirs were organised in Burari, GK, R.K Puram & Sultanpuri Zonal Offices. Out of the total 339 complaints received 251 complaints were resolved on the spot. Pending complaints will be resolved in a time bound manner. The initiative has been started for effective redressal of grievances of our esteemed customers and DJB is committed to reach out to its consumers and will try to respond, in a time bound manner.

 

The Shivirs are launched in addition to other grievance redressal mechanism available to the consumers like lodging the complaints on DJB website or contacting toll free no 1916. Consumers can register and update their contact details like mobile numbers on the DJB website www.djb.gov.in to receive regular updates on information such as new schemes launched, current issued bills, payment alerts, payments receipt, detailed bill receipt, old payment history etc. With this effort, DJB hopes to redress as many public grievances as possible in a short span of time.
