Delhi Jal Board wraps up the “ Jansampark Shivir ”

DJB wraps up the “ Jansampark Shivir ” by redressing 1020
no. of complaints  regarding ‘Meter reading and Bills related issues’.

·        On the final day of the camp, DJB resolved 265 complaints.

·        The massive response from the consumers made the Jansampark
Camp a success.

·        Complaints can also be registered at RMS Portal on DJB
website, mSeva android mobile app and Customer Care Centre toll free
no. 1916

On the last day of the major Consumer outreach program, for the
convenience of consumers, Delhi Jal Board addressed 265 no. of
complaints in the “Jansampark Shivir”. Total complaints resolved from
11-11-2017 to 09-12-2017 regarding  meter reading & Bill related
issues with DJB were 1020. The idea behind the redressal camp was to
give on the spot solution of  grievances to the consumers. Seeing the
massive response in the organised redressal camps, Delhi Jal Board
decides to organise such one stop solution camps in near future as
well.

On the first day, Jan Sampark Shivirs were organised in Malviya Nagar,
Greater Kailash, Giri Nagar, Saket, Sultanpuri and  Burari Zonal
Offices, where 189 complaints were resolved on the spot. On the 2nd,
3rd and last  day of the camp 831 no. of complaints were redressed in
18 Zonal Revenue Areas. The initiative was started for effective
redressal of grievances of the esteemed customers. DJB is committed to
reach out its consumers and try responding, in a time bound manner.

The Shivirs are launched in addition to other grievance redressal
mechanism available to the consumers like lodging the complaints on
mSeva android based mobile app, DJB website or contacting toll free no
1916. Consumers can register and update their contact details like
mobile numbers on the DJB website to receive regular
updates on information such as new schemes launched, current issued
bills, payment alerts, payments receipt, detailed bill receipt, old
payment history etc. DJB hopes to redress as many public grievances as
possible in a time bound manner.
