DJB wraps up the “Jansampark Shivir” by redressing 1303 no. of   complaints regarding‘Meter Reading and Bills related issues.’

·    On the final day of the camp, DJB resolved 251 complaints.

·       The massive response from the consumers made the Jansampark     Camp a success.

·      Complaints can also be registered at RMS Portal on DJB website        and Customer Care Centre toll free no. 1916 

On the last day of the major Consumer outreach program, for the convenience of consumers, Delhi Jal Board addressed 251 no. of complaints in the “Jansampark Shivir “. Total complaints resolved from 03-09-2016 to 01-10-2016 regarding meter reading & Bill related issues with DJB were 1303 .The idea behind the redressal camps was to give on the spot resolution of  grievances to the consumers.


On the first day, Jan Sampark Shivirs were organized in Burari, GK, R.K Puram & Sultanpuri Zonal Offices, where 251 complaints were resolved on the spot. On the 2nd 3rd and 4th day of the camp 1052 no. of complaints were redressed in 12 Zonal Revenue Areas. The initiative was started for effective redressal of grievances of our esteemed customers and DJB is committed to reach out to its consumers and try to respond, in a time bound manner.


The Shivirs are launched in addition to other grievance redressal mechanisms available to the consumers like lodging the complaints on DJB website or contacting toll free no 1916. Consumers can register and update their contact details like mobile numbers on the DJB website to receive regular updates on information such as new schemes launched, current issued bills, payment alerts, payments receipt, detailed bill receipt, old payment history etc. DJB hopes to redress as many public grievances as possible in a time bound manner.
