TWO ROBBERS NAMELY (1) MITHUN JHA @ MUKESH S/O RAJ NARAYAN JHA R/ NEW ASHOK NAGAR, DELHI AGED- 27 YRS (2) SANJAY @ SONU S/O M.D. SHARMA R/O NOIDA, U.P. AGED- 31 YRS ARRESTED AND ROBBED CASH/ARTICLES RECOVERED .

INTRODUCTION:

A PCR call regarding robbery of 3.5 lakh was received in PS Preet Vihar on 26/08/2013 in the afternoon. I.O. ASI Ranbir Singh reached at 411, Gagan Vihar i.e. residence of the complainant Sh. Rajiv Aggarwal. Complainant stated that one unknown person had robbed while his driver namely Mithun Jha was coming by car from bank after withdrawal Rs. 3,50,000/-. That unknown person took him to nearby Akshar Dham Mandir on gun point and a case under appropriate section of robbery was registered.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:

A team was constituted to act swiftly for nabbing the robbers. A team led by Inspr K.S. Rawat and comprising of ASI Ranbir Singh, Ct. Puneet, Ct. Tek Ram, Ct. Sonu, was constituted under the close supervision of ACP/Preet Vihar.

INTERROGATION:

Sustained interrogation was conducted with driver Mithun Jha, during the course of investigation as he created doubts over the incident and he always tried to misguide the police personnels and he was continuously changing his version about the said incident, hence the CCTV footage and CDR were obtained and analyzed. While he was asked about the person he was calling frequently then he disclosed him as Sanjay @ Sonu. Accordingly search of Sanjay @ Sonu suspected in the above said case was made out and he was found in the residence of Mithun Jha i.e. New Ashok Nagar, Delhi.

INTERROGATION WITH  SANJAY @ SONU S/O M.D. SHARMA R/O NOIDA, U.P. AGED- 31 YRS

Sanjay @ Sonu, was also interrogated and during the course of interrogation he also created doubts over this incident and he also tried to misguide the police personals. He could not give any satisfactory answer about his presence and made contact on phone with Mithun Jha. Hence he was thoroughly interrogated and asked many cross question about the incident and his presence etc. After sustained interrogation he surrendered himself and admitted his involvement in this robbery and conspiracy.  Robbed cash Rs. 3,26,000/-, one double bed purchased from the looted money and 3 Mobile Phones were recovered on the instance of accused persons from the residence of Mithun Jha i.e. New Ashok Nagar, Delhi.

RECOVERY:

Ø    Robbed Cash Rs. 3,26,000/-

Ø    One double bed purchased from the looted money Rs. 20,000/-

Ø    Three Mobile phone used in this robbery.
