Former President of Indian Medical Association Dr. K K Aggarwal took his last breath on Monday 17 May after battling a long fight against the disease. He was on ventilator support for the past one week and was admitted in AIIMS Delhi where he was undergoing his treatment.
Dr. Aggarwal was an eminent cardiologist and was awarded the Padma Shree in 2010. He also headed the Confederation of Medical Associations in Asia and Oceania (CMAAO) and the Heart Care Foundation of India.
