Gauri Shankar, Managing Director & CEO Punjab National Bank inaugurates RAB Conclave
Sh. Gauri Shankar MD & CEO of Punjab National Bank today inaugurated a conclave of Retail Asset Branches of the Bank at New Delhi. He reviewed the performance of these branches for last year and also laid down the road map for the current financial year. He motivated the entire Retail field team to reduce delivery time for Retail Products and to enhance conversion of leads generated through Online portals of the Bank. Bank has already taken a lead in launching a Monsoon Bonanza from 1st June 2015 under which processing fee and documentation charges are waived for Housing and Car loans.
Further Bank has reduced Rate of interest on all Education Loan schemes by 1%. In addition to a rebate of 0.50% is being given to women borrowers and an incentive of 1% for timely repayment of interest. Also for Premier Educational Institutes, the requirements of collateral security & guarantees have been relaxed. Bank is aiming to achieve the Govt directive of 20% growth in disbursement and 15% growth in number of accounts for Educational Loans.
On this occasion Sh. Gauri Shankar also felicitated top performers and launched a compendium of Retail Loan Guidelines and new Initiatives being undertaken by the bank.
