Inauguration of the work of providing internal sewer line in Ganesh Nagar Pandav Nagar, Complex by Dr.A .K Walia,Health and Family Minister,Govt. of Delhi

Dr. A.K Walia, Hon’ble Health and Family Welfare Minister, Govt. of Delhi inaugurated an  internal sewer line in Ganesh Nagar, Pandav Nagar complex on 31st  March 2013, in the presence of Sh. Sharanjeet Sharma, Ex. Municipal Counselor,  V.S Thind, Chief Engineer, Delhi Jal Board along with other officers and employees of Delhi Jal Board.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. A.K Walia said that “the sewerage scheme has been prepared in order to have better sanitation and pollution free conditions for the residents of the area.” The work to be undertaken by DJB, includes providing / laying 280 mm dia meter 500 mm dia meter , HDPE internal coverline in the unauthorized colonies, Ganesh Nagar, Pandav Nagar complex, Shahdara, Delhi.

The project costing approx Rs. 2, 59,74,257/- shall see the sewerage of the colony discharging through the Narwana Road Trunk Sewer into the Mandawali Fazal Pur SPS and finally to the Kondli Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for its treatment.    The  6927 meter sewer line will benefit a population of 20,000 people of the area.”
