MANISH SISODIA INAUGRTAES THE WORK OF LAYING OF SEWER LINES AT JAWAHAR MOHALLA GROUP OF JJ CLUSTER AT SHASHI GARDEN

Manish Sisodia, Hon’ble Dy. CM, Delhi inaugurates the work of Providing and Laying of jointing internal sewer line in Jawahar Mohalla group of Jhuggi and Jhopadi cluster in Shashi Garden in Patparganj Assembly Constituency
• The work will benefit 20k people living in the nearby areas

In consonance with the objectives of the Delhi government to improve the sanitation issues within Delhi, Delhi Jal Board is making consistent efforts to bring such areas into its improved sewerage network. Sh. Manish Sisodia, Hon’ble Dy. CM, Delhi, inaugurated the work of Providing and Laying of jointing internal sewer line in Jawahar Mohalla group of Jhuggi and Jhopadi cluster in Shashi Garden in Patparganj Assembly Constituency today i.e. 20-02-2017 at 10:00 AM in the presence of Shri Kapil Mishra, Minister Water and Chairman- DJB, Sh. Keshav Chandra, CEO- DJB, Sh. R.S. Tyagi Member (WS) – DJB, and other senior officials of Delhi Jal Board. The above mentioned work is likely to be completed within 12 months thereby benefitting around 20k people
of the nearby areas.

After the execution of present scheme of providing and laying internal sewer line in a length of 4km in Jawahar Mohalla group of JJ cluster in Shashi Garden in Patparganj Assembly Constituency, the problem of open flow of sewers leading to several health issues owing to unhygienic conditions will be sorted out. The total cost incurred in this project is approximately 2.25 crores.
