MISSING FOREIGN NATIONAL GIRL UNITED WITH THE FAMILY BY EFFORTS OF DELHI POLICE STAFF

A MISSING FOREIGN NATIONAL GIRL WAS REUNITED WITH THE FAMILY BY POLICE STAFF OF GREATER KAILASH

 

          In an extensive search of an UAE national ,the staff of Police Station Greater Kailash, South East District succeeded in tracing her whereabouts and reunited the family who came to India from UAE.

 

INCIDENT

  On 28.03.16 at 11.45 AM, one PRO of UAE Embassy, Chankyapuri came to Police Station Greater Kailash and reported that a UAE national girl came to India along with her family and landed at IGI Airport. The family stayed in a Hotel at Greater Kailash-I, Delhi. On 28.03.16 at 6.12 AM, the girl went missing from the hotel. Subsequently, a case was registered at PS Greater Kailash and further investigation was taken up.   

 

TEAM AND OPERATION

A team of Inspr. Sandeep Ghai SHO/GK, Inspr. Anil Malik, SI Ashok Giri, SI Kishor Kumar, ASI Pradeep Kumar, HC Praveen Kumar, HC Satya Narayan, Ct. Lalit was formed under the supervision of ACP/Lajpat Nagar Sh. Satish Kain to find out the whereabouts of the girl.

 

During investigation, extensive search was made in all the nearby markets including M & N Block GK-I, Nehru Place etc. Besides, search was also made at Saket Select City Mall. CCTV were checked and entry points of malls were especially checked. All the private security guards were briefed. Message about the missing girl was also circulated on What’s App group. The CCTV cameras installed on the nearby buildings were also checked. She was asking something from the taxi drivers on the road. The said drivers were identified and questioned.

Efforts were again made to locate her position and CCTV footages of some more area was checked and it is found in one of the footages that she was sitting on a rickshaw. Further efforts were made to locate the victim girl and the Rickshaw puller. After painstaking efforts, it came into notice that she might have gone to Bombay. Subsequently, a wireless message to all India SSP’s/DCsP & SHO’s in Delhi was sent. On 30.03.16, Daheshar Police station of Mumbai police informed that a girl of same description has been found. Thereafter, she was taken to Delhi and she was found to be the same girl reported missing.

 

INTERROGATION

During questioning, the girl told that she was upset & had anger with her family member over some family issue. So, she went out from the hotel. She took an auto to Nizamuddin Railway Station and boarded a train going to Bombay. During the train journey, she met one person who guided her to go to police station Dahesar (East) Mumbai on 30.03.16. Bombay police immediately informed Delhi Police about the girl. She has been reunited with her family.

 

The police team involved in this operation is being suitably rewarded.
