MUMBAI TOWN HALL MEETING BY MD & CEO OF PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK
Shri Gauri Shankar, Managing Director and CEO of Punjab National Bank addressed the Town Hall Meeting at Convocation Hall, Mumbai University on 13th June, 2015. This Meeting was 4th in series after Chandigarh, New Delhi and Dharamshala. The Meeting in Mumbai was attended by more than 850 employees of the Bank across all cadres and working in different branches in Mumbai.
The Meeting was an HR initiative by the MD & CEO to motivate the employees to excel in all spheres. It was aimed to highlight need of better Customer Service, NPA Reduction, Business Growth and Credit Dispensation. The Meeting was an interactive session in which staff members enthusiastically participated. The performance of both Circles of Mumbai was discussed and suggestions of the Staff for further improvement in business growth were also invited.
On this occasion, Shri Vivek Jha, Field General Manager Mumbai shared his views to take the Bank forward. The Town Hall Meeting lasted a very positive impact on human resource. Considering the positive outcome, the Bank is planning such meetings at all important centres for motivating staff and involving them in all round future growth of the Bank.
