Shri Balraj Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC, India’s premier hydro power company met Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Pawan Kumar Chamling on 20th March 2018 at Delhi. During the meeting, CMD, NHPC apprised Chief Minister about various ongoing activities of NHPC in the State of Sikkim.
CMD, NHPC stressed on efforts being made by NHPC towards the start of 520 MW Teesta-IV hydroelectric project in the state and requested for support in getting SIA completion. Hon’ble Chief Minister assured his cooperation to NHPC in getting various clearances and any other support required for the timely execution of the Project.
