New Delhi:
NTPC Limited and NTPC-Unchahar Thermal Power Station have been awarded by prestigious PowerLine Magazine in the ‘Best Performing Generation Company – Thermal’ and ‘Best Performing Thermal Power Station’ categories. An eminent jury comprising luminaries from power sector decided the award winners.
The awards were presented by Chief Guest, Honorable Union Minister of Power, Sushilkumar Shinde, last evening at a function held in New Delhi. Shri Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, NTPC and Shri N.N. Misra, Director (Operations) received the “Best Performing Generation Company – Thermal” award and Shri Prakash Tiwari, General Manager, NTPC Unchahar received the ‘Best Performing Thermal Power Station’ award.
