New Delhi, April 29 : ONGC has been conferred the “Gold Trophy of SCOPE Meritorious Award in the category of Corporate Social Responsibility and Responsiveness for 2011-12’
The award was handed over by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee to ONGC CMD SudhirVasudeva on the occasion of Public Sector Day celebrated on 26th April at New Delhi.
ONGC Director (HR) K S Jamestin accompanied CMD to receive the honours. Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public EnterprisesPraful Patel was also present on the occasion.
