Passing out Parade of 58th batch of ASI (Stenos) and Head Constables (Ministerial) held at Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi.

New Delhi,Nov.19,2013: The Passing out Parade of 58th batch of ASI (Stenos) and Head Constables (Ministerial) was held at Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi. They took the oath in a colorful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training. Sh.Bhim Sain Bassi, Commissioner of Police, Delhi took the salute of the marching contingents and the parade was attended by other senior officers of Delhi Police.

This batch of Ministerial Cadre, will augment large trained manpower available with Delhi Police, 7 ASI (Stenos), 329 Head Constable (Ministerial) including 26 (Women) trainees which joined in June, 2013 and were provided basic training at Police Training School, JharodaKalan. Training of highest order was provided to trainees by embarking on path of the best practices in training.

 Educational profile of these ASI (Stenos) and Head Constables (Ministerial) is quite impressive as this batch has 1 M.Sc., 12 M.A., 1 M.Com, 2 MBA, 2 MCA, 4 B. Tech, 2 B.Ed, 2 B.PEd, 13 B.Sc., 36 B.Com., 5 BBA, 14 BCA, 123 B.A., 96 (10+2).

The state-wise break-up include 169 from Delhi, 79  from Haryana, 48 from UP, 11 from Rajasthan, 3 from Uttrakhand, 2 from Bihar and 1 from  Kerala.

The training of Stenos and Ministerial consists of two parts namely Indoor and Outdoor training. In indoor training, they have been imparted knowledge of various subjects including GFR (General Finance Rules), FR SR (Fundamental rules/ Service rules), C.C.S. Conduct Rules, Relevant Standing Orders & Circulars, Noting & drafting, D.P. Act & Rules, Latest Computer applications . Subjects of police working namely law, Crowd control and Traffic control have been covered in their training.

One month commando training was also imparted to all.

Ministerial Cadre is backbone of Delhi Police.

In his address, Commissioner of Police Delhi advised them to be true professional Police Officers and encouraged them to come forward and accept the challenges of policing the capital in a better way. He emphasized on their contribution, for effective initiation and implementation of polices and action plans. He also asserted that they need to be conscious of meeting timelines and following rules and procedures. He also highlighted the importance of computer education as a tool to enhance their efficiency at work and also expressed his happiness that they had also passed the commando training, enabling them to be at par with field duty staff.

On this occasion, Commissioner of Police Delhi gave away the trophies to the toppers. In ASI (Steno) overall best, best in Computer Application and best in Law to ASI Pawan Kumar, among Head Constable (Ministerial) overall best and best in Computer Application to H C Arvind, best in law and 1st in outdoor to HC Ravi and Mohd. Jawed respectively.

Lastly, Commissioner of Police Delhi congratulated them for the successful completion of their training and hoped that they should always remain ahead of time by improving their professional skills. He congratulated, Sh. S N Shrivastava Spl. CP/ Special Cell  & Training ,   Sh. Robin Hibu,  Jt. C.P. Training/ Principal PTC and Sh. P.K.Mishra Vice Principal Training PTC for imparting excellent training to this batch.
