New Delhi: On 23rd December 2014, the Passing Out Parade of Recruit Constable Trainees Batch No. 100 & 101 was held at Police Training School Wazirabad, Delhi. There were 176 Recruit Constables ( 153 male and 23 female) who had joined their training on 17.02.2014. They took the oath in a colorful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training. Sh Kishan Kumar Spl. Commissioner of Police Training Delhi took the salute of the marching contingents. The students of DPPS, Wazirabad also attended the passing out parade function.
The objective of the entire ten months training programme of Recruit Constable was to inculcate knowledge and professional skills, developing their total personality to enable them to shoulder greater responsibilities of a Police officer of metropolitan city like Delhi. The main focus in the indoor training was computer learning, law and scientific policing.
In the outdoor training, the emphasis was to raise their level of physical toughness & stamina. They have been imparted training in the weapon handling & firing, UAC (Un armed Combat), Field Craft & Tactics, Crowd Control etc. They were also imparted, One month Commando Training at PTS, Wazirabad.
POINTS IN BRIEF ABOUT THE PASSING OUT BATCH
RECUIT CONSTABLE MALE & FEMALE :-
“Unity in diversity” is also manifested in this batch as the trainees were from various states including, 36 from Rajasthan, 48 from Delhi, 55 from Haryana, 33 from U.P., 01 from Mainpur, 01 from Chhattisgarh, 01 from Karnataka and 01 from Kerala. Cast Category : 66 from General, 65 from OBC, 37 from SC and 08 from ST.
Educational profile is quite impressive as it has 124 under graduates, 47 Graduates, 02 MBA and 03 MA.
On this occasion, Spl. Commissioner of Training, Delhi gave away the trophies to the toppers.
