Punjab National Bank celebrated India’s 71st Republic Day on January 26th 2020. The auspicious occasion was celebrated at the PNB headquarters, where Punjab National Bank MD & CEO , Shri CH.S.S. Mallikarjuna Rao hoisted the national flag. Also present were PNB Executive Director’s Dr. R.K.Yaduvanshi and Shri L.V.Prabhakar with other senior officials of the bank.The bank cultural activities were at display on the momentous occasion.
As part of its CSR initiative PNB Prerna President Ms Janaki Mallikarjuna Rao presented financial assistance of Rs 100000/- to DCCW.
Delhi Council for Child welfare (DCCW) is an NGO established in 1952. The Council first started its work providing care to children who had been displaced, lost or abandoned in the riots surrounding the Partition of India.
All services and programmes are targeted solely at under-privileged children in and around Delhi. Over the decades, their programmes have diversified to cover medical services, nutrition, vocational training, adoption, rehabilitation of physically and mentally challenged children and the provision of day care and non-formal education. Today, these services reach about 2500 children daily and are provided virtually free of cost to them
