PNB EXTENDS HELP FOR LEPROSY ERADICATION

Usha Ananthasubremanian, MD & CEO, Punjab National Bank presented a cheque to  President, Pranab Mukherji at Rashtrapati Bhawan as a helping hand towards eradication of leprosy. Gauri Shankar, K V Brahmaji Rao and Dr. R S Sangapure, Executive Directors were also present on the occasion along with the executives of Hind Kushth Nivaran Sangh.

PNB has taken various initiatives as part of Corporate Social Responsibility. PNB agenda for CSR is spreading literacy, social service, tree plantation drives, free medical camps, camps to distribute artificial limbs, blood donation camps, improving sanitary conditions by building toilets, support for the downtrodden weaker sections of society, orphans, underprivileged, spastics, handicapped, ambulances and building infrastructure facilities to various hospitals/schools, opening Library – cum – reading rooms in rural areas, etc. PNB is running a Hockey Academy to promote National Game of Hockey. PNB has set up Farmers Training Colleges and RSETIs for vocational and agricultural training.
