New Delhi: Dr. Ram .S.Sangapure has been appointed as Executive Director,Punjab National Bank by Ministry of Finance,Govt. of India w.e.f 13-3-14.Prior to joining PNB he was General Manager Central Bank of India and served the bank for about a decade.He has worked in various capacities such as Regional Manager,Incharge of Corporate Branch,Zonal Manager,Chairman at RRB and at their corporate office in Mumbai heading Planning and Development,Retail bank and Risk Management.
Dr. Ram .S.Sangapure has done Ph.D in Economics from University of Sofia,a European University.He started his career in Banking industry with IDBI and had exposure to various areas of banking during his span of 5 years with the bank.He has brought many prestigious awards from the verticals he headed at the Central Bank of India.
Dr. Sangapure has attended prestigious training programme conducted by IIM Ahmedabad and IBA. He has also undergone training programme held abroad conducted under aegis of CAFRAL,IMI and BIRD.
