PNB ON ITS WAY TO SOCIAL CAUSE -CMD,PNB,K R KAMATH INAUGRATES BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN ASSOCIATION WITH INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY
New Delhi, Sept 04 : K R Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, Punjab National Bank, yesterday inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society at its Corporate Office, New Delhi. The other three such camps will be held at Rajendra Place, Sansad Marg and Tolstoy Marg, New Delhi building on 04.09.2013, 05.09.2013 and 06.09.2013 respectively. A large number of staff members including senior officials of the Bank voluntarily donated their blood in these camps. It is expected that about 300 units of blood will be collected from these camps.
On the occasion, Kamath said that PNB has been organizing Blood Donation Camps at its HO premises for the last more than 20 years. Besides, other PR activities like Medical check up camps, Tree Plantation Camps, Distribution of Artificial limbs, Career Guidance Camps etc. are also organized through out the year
