Since no particular caste, class, race, state or religion can claim total sovereignty on any SHAHEED, as he belongs to the entire Nation and hence honoring him is far better than building up the GDP.

The Ex Election Commissioner of India Dr G V G Krishnamurty said that if a Politician looses an election he can re-contest, if a Bureaucrat is suspended he can be reinstated and if an Actor flops in a Film he can remake another but a Soldier can sacrifice his life only once and therefore it is called supreme sacrifice. Supreme Sacrifice should be paid supreme Respect. He said that the Government should pay at least Rs 50 lakh to each Shaheed family and felicitate them in the Vigyan Bhawan. This will raise the morale of the Combat Soldier.

The Bands of the Indian Air Force and the Indo Tibetan Border Police played the choicest Patriotic Tunes today at Jantar Mantar.

All Families demanded from the Govt. that at least a certificate of Shahddat should be given to each family : it does not incur any expenditure to the Govt.
