New Delhi: Every year Reserve Bank of India ((RBI) honors those Nationalized Banks and Financial institutions whose performance is excellent in implementation of Official Language Policy and use of Hindi in their day to day working. RBI has declared the results for the financial year 2013-14 and PNB has been awarded 1st prize in ‘A’ Region, 2nd prize in ‘B’ Region and consolation prize in ‘C’ Region category. PNB has also been awarded consolation prize for its bilingual Staff Journal ‘PNB PRATIBHA’.
On 19th June 2015, in a Shield Distribution Ceremony, organized by RBI at their Head Office Mumbai, Dr. Raghuram Rajan, Governor and S S Mundra, Deputy Governor conferred Rajbhahsha shield and certificate of Merit to Gauri Shankar MD & CEO of PNB, Vivek Jha, FGM Mumbai and Premchand Sharma, AGM Rajbhasha.
