REC Assigns RGGVY Kushinagar project to PGCIL
REC assigned the implementation of RGGVY project of Kushinagar district sanctioned under 12th plan to PGCIL. The total cost of the project is Rs.231.85 Crores covering 902 villages, 3196 Un-electrified habitations and 85086 BPL households. The assignment was handed over by Shri Rajeev Sharma, CMD, REC to Shri R.N. Nayak, CMD, PGCIL on 9th October 2013, at REC Corporate Office, in the presence of Shri R.P.N. Singh, Union Minister of state for Home Affairs. Other senior officials from both REC and PGCIL were also present at the event.
