REC conferred the Governance Now PSU Award 2013
REC received the Governance Now PSU Award on 24 July 2013 for strategic performance in the Navratna Category. Honourable Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Shri Praful Patel, presented the award to Shri P J Thakkar , Director Technical, REC. Senior Officers from REC and dignitaries from other leading public and private sector organizations were also present at the event. The ceremony was a platform to facilitate PSUs recognizing their governance, competitiveness and strategy. The award ceremony was organized at Hotel Le Meriden by Governance Now, a leading magazine in the governance domain.
