Renault on Thursday rolled out its Kwid, entry level hatchback. It is priced between Rs.2.56 lakh and Rs.3.53 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). Kwid is expected to give fierce competition to Maruti Suzuki’s popular Alto model, which is priced at the same level, besides Hyundai Eon and Tata Nano.
The car is powered by a 800cc, three cylinder engine, delivering fuel efficiency of 25.17 kmpl, the company said.
