New Delhi: The Oil Marketing Companies today announced Rs 3.13 per litre increase in retail price of petrol and Rs 2.71 per litre rise in diesel prices beginning tonight to align the deregulated domestic prices with the international rates. The increase will be effective midnight of May 16.
Post today’s changes in retail prices, non-branded petrol will be charged at Rs 66.29 per litre in Delhi while diesel will cost Rs 52.28 per litre. The prices were last revised on 1 May when petrol prices were increased by Rs 3.96 per litre and diesel prices were increased by Rs 2.37 per litre.
