New Delhi: Editor-in-Chief of Indian Express Shekhar Gupta,a prominent name in Journalism today tendered his resignation after a stint of 25 years in two stints.He will be with the group till 15th June.
“It is time for me to say goodbyes at the Express — for the second time. The first was exactly at the same time of the year in 1983 when most of you were not born yet,” wrote Gupta in his mail.
Shekhar is expected to join INDIA TODAY Group as the Vice Chairman and Group Editor according to sources.Gupta ,57 i also an awardee of the coveted Padma Bhushan award which he recieved in 2009 for his contribution in the filed of Journalism.
