Donations under PNB PRERNA
Punjab National Bank, a socially responsive Bank, has undertaken numerous CSR initiatives in the past. A pioneering initiative taken by the Top Management of the Bank pertains to formation of PNB PRERNA, an association of the wives of the senior management to take forward the CSR agenda of the Bank, enhancing social ties of the Bank with the society.
Towards this end, Smt Pushpa Kamath, President of PNB PRERNA, donated 24 computers to ‘Adharshila’, an NGO, engaged in building foundations at the grassroot level for upliftment of underprivileged and destitute girls, in the function held at Adharshila Centre, Harkesh Nagar, New Delhi. The donated computers will be used to impart computer education to the girls of underprivileged section of the society.
