Jaipur, April 6  Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Sunday reached Japan where she would hold roadshows to attract investment for the state.

On her arrival at Tokyo’s Narita Airport, Raje was received by Indian ambassador to Japan Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, among other officials

Raje’s visit till April 10 is a precursor to Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit which will be held in Jaipur in November 2015.

The summit, to be held during November 19-20, will have strategic conferences, panel discussions, round-table deliberations, presentations and one-on-one business meetings.

It is hoped to bring together investors from all over the world for interacting with policy makers, including the political leadership, government officials and, business leaders on the investment environment and opportunities in Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, an official statement on Sunday said: “The chief minister during her (Japan) visit will meet senior business and political leaders and invite them to invest in Rajasthan.” She will also address business leaders in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Raje is leading a delegation of senior officials, key business-persons, representatives of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and representatives of Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO).

Japanese companies and Rajasthan share a special relationship. Rajasthan is one of the only states in the country to have a special zone Japanese Investment Zone in Neemrana town in the state’s Alwar district, over 130 km from Jaipur.
