After India summoned Singapore’s High Commissioner to object to PM Lee Hsien Loong’s remarks on Indian MPs, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, “We must learn to be less thin-skinned!” Calling the summon “most unseemly”, Tharoor said, “He (Loong) was making a general (and largely accurate) point.” Loong had earlier said half of India’s MPs are facing criminal charges.
