RAHUL GANDHI IDEAL CHOICE FOR PRIME MINISTER POST AFTER 2014 POLLS SAYS PM DR. MANMOHAN SINGH
New Delhi,Sept.7,2013: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Saturday that he would like to see Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi as prime minister after 2014 elections, and he would be happy to step aside and work under the much younger leader in the party.
“I have always maintained that Rahul Gandhiji would be an ideal choice for prime minister after the 2014 election,” Singh told reporters on board his special aircraft on the way back from the G20 summit of the world’s leading economies at St Petersburg, Russia.
“I would be happy to work for the Congress party under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.”
