NTPC Limited has been conferred ‘Golden Peacock Global Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance’ for the year 2012. The award was received by Shri A.K.Jha, Director (Technical) NTPC on behalf of the Company at London recently from Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Govt. UK in the presence of Mr. Ola Ullsten, former Prime Minister of Sweden and Lt Gen J S Ahluwalia, PVSM (retd), President, Institute of Directors, India.
