IDBI Bank has been appointed Hemant Bhargava has been appointed as the Non- Executive Non Whole-time Chairman of IDBI Bank for a period of 3 years or till he continues as the Chairman-in-charge & MD of LIC, whichever is earlier as per the approval dated February 22, 2019, received in this regard by the Bank from Reserve Bank of India.
Bhargava, a postgraduate in Economics has a wide range of experience in LIC in various positions from senior branch manager to executive director, chief manager in Mauritius, executive director heading international operations, micro insurance and CEO of LIC Cards Services.
