AAP WILL EXPAND ITS STRUCTURE IN STATE FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE IN 2019 AND 2022 : MANISH SISODIA

Chandigarh, May 05, 2018: The deputy CM of Delhi and in-charge of Punjab affairs, Manish Sisodia during his visit to meet the party workers announced that the structure in state will be expanded in coming days to prepare for 2019 and 2022 elections. Addressing the volunteers, office bearers and legislators, Sisodia said that it is great to see that just 5 year old party is running a successful govt. in Delhi and performing the duty of aware opposition in Punjab that raises the voice of unheard. He said that it was due to the pressure created by AAP that a corrupt minister, Rana Gurjeet had to resign in the 1st year of formation of govt.

Sisodia said that the AAP Delhi govt. is doing marvelous work for the welfare of people especially in the field of health and education. The AAP govt. has given the highest compensation in the country for crop loss of farmers. He said that with the honest and transparent policies, the AAP Delhi govt. has raised the annual budget from 32000 Crores to 52000 Crores. The money saved by govt. from different schemes is being spent on the welfare of people of Delhi.

The Delhi deputy CM said that the difference between AAP and other conventional parties is that other parties think about their own welfare but AAP work for the needy. He said that to provide facilities to the least equipped is the utmost target of the party. This is the reason that Punjab and other states need AAP desperately. He asked the volunteers to rise again and set new targets for upcoming general elections in 2019 and state elections in 2022.

The Member of Parliament from Faridkot, Prof Sadhu Singh, the leader of opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, state co-president, Dr. Balbir Singh and Majha zone president, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliowal also addressed the audience. The leaders asked the volunteers to continue their fight against land, sand, liquor, drug etc. mafia being run by political people. All the legislators, zone presidents, district presidents, Vidhan Sabha president and workers were present during the function.

Addressing the media, co-president of AAP, Dr. Balbir Singh announced candidature of Ratan Singh Kakad Kalan for Shahkot by-election in the presence of Manish Sisodia.
