AJAY KASHYAP,SPL.COMMISSIONER OF POLICE TRAFFIC FELICITATES WINNERS OF COMPETITION ON ROAD SAFETY

New Delhi: The Road Safety Campaign ended in a grand finale at Baba Kharak Singh Marg with the final round of painting competition, quiz competition, and debate competition for middle and senior schools.

Sh. Ajay Kashyap, Spl. Commissioner of Police Traffic felicitated the winners and runners-up of the competition. Indraprastha Gas Ltd., Jubilant Foodworks, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd., Hero Motocorp partnered with Delhi Traffic Police in the whole endeavour by extending infrastructural and logistical support.

 

The winner school for debate competition in the Middle School category was Darshan Academy, Kripal Bagh, Delhi and Runner up was Sai Memorial Girls School.  In the painting competition St. Michael Sr. Secondary school, Pusa Road won the first prize and Chogali Public School, Faiz Road, Karol Bagh was the Runner up. In Quiz competition Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka won the first prize and the Runner up was the Lion’s Vidya Mandir, Teen Murti.

 

In the senior school category Debate competition, Kulachi Hansraj won the first prize and R.D. Rajpal was the Runner up. In painting competition Govt. Girls Sr. Secondary school, Uttam Nagar won the first prize and Govt. Boys Sr. Secondary School, Kalkaji was the Runner up. In  quiz competition Amity International School, Mayur Vihar won the first prize and the Runner up was the Hira Public School, Samalkha, Delhi.

 

The objective of the campaign was to “Catch children young and train them young” Approximately 10 lakh students with the support of school principals and teachers of 924 public and government schools enthusiastically participated in these competitions were made aware of Road Safety.
