SPECIAL DRIVE TO CHECK POLLUTION BY DELHI POLICE

 

  1. During the Special drive to check pollution, 236 non-distant vehicles were returned at Delhi borders and not allowed to enter in Delhi.

 

  1. 568 vehicles were challaned for not having pollution under control certificate (PUC)

 

  1. 5218 old looking vehicles were checked out of which 11 vehicles were found more than 15 years old and were impounded.

 

  1. More than 50 major construction work stopped.
