BUSINESSMAN RESCUED AND KIDNAPPING FOR RANSOM CASE
SOLVED BY PS FARSH BAZAR
INCIDENT:-
On 13/9/2013 SHO/Farsh Bazar got information through a public source that a young boy of a business family has been abducted and a ransom amount of Rs 1 crore has been demanded. Police was put on alert and raiding teams were formed. During investigation, it was revealed that kidnappers were using the mobile phone of abducted person for making ransom calls. Subsequently, on the basis of investigation many teams were deployed at strategic locations. Then an information was received that a man has been kept as hostage, tied up in Krishna Nagar Delhi. SHO/Krishna Nagar along with staff rushed to the spot and after breaking open the door of second storey flat recovered the victim who disclosed his name as Sh Alok Jain s/o Sh Rajender Jain, aged 21 yrs.
INTERROGATION AND INVESTIGATION :-
A case of kidnapping for ransom was registered. On investigation it was revealed that Sh Alok Jain runs his business of plastic pallets supply to factories. He has supplied raw material worth Rs 20 Lakh to one Sh Dinesh s/o Sh Shridhar Prasad aged 42 yrs r/o 6/38 Gali No 3 Vishwas Nagar Delhi who runs his factory of plastic coating to wires at Friends colony Delhi. The business of Sh Dinesh got slowed down and he ran into losses. He was pressed hard by Sh Alok Jain to repay the debt. On being pressed hard Mr Dinesh sold his machines and repaid an amount of Rs 12.50 Lakh to Mr Alok Jain. Now Mr Dinesh was debt ridden and he was being asked by other lenders also to repay their loan hence he planned to abduct Sh Alok Jain and in furtherance to this, he called up Sh Alok Jain at about 11 AM on 13/9/13 and told him that he is about to get a payment of Rs 3 Lakh at Krishna Nagar Delhi. Accused Dinesh convinced Mr Jain to accompany him. Then both accused and victim went to Krishna Nagar on the Motor Cycle of the victim Mr Jain. On reaching at a flat at second floor the door was opened by one lady who then went out on the pretext of getting cold drink. After that accused Dinesh took out the cutter and tied up Mr Alok jain in the chair and gagged his mouth with tie piece and then tapped his mouth. After tying up the victim accused locked the room and then locked the flat from outside. He then went out after taking the phones of the victim. It was around 1 PM. He then demanded ransom of Rs one crore from father of the victim and finally negotiated the ransom amount to Rs 50 Lakh. But somehow luck ran short for the accused as victim managed to fall on the floor and tapped the floor which was heard by the neighbour who alerted the police. Victim was rescued safely. Raids were conducted and accused was nabbed.
